Privacy Policy.

CorallineBeauty is a shop run by Maravea Pvt Ltd in Malé, Maldives ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short and only collect what we need to get your order to you.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name, email address, mobile number and password. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), so no one at CorallineBeauty can read them. If you choose to, you can also give us your date of birth and gender.
- Signing in with Google. If you use "Continue with Google", Google tells us your name, your email address, and an account ID. We never see your Google password.
- Your orders. What you bought, the prices you paid, any promo code, and the delivery details you give at checkout: name, phone, address, landmark, island or atoll, and your preferred boat run. You can check out as a guest; we still need an email and phone number for the order.
- Payments. For bank transfers we keep the transfer slip you upload, so our team can match it to your order. For cash on delivery we record that you paid. We never ask for or store your card or online-banking details.
- Reviews. If you review something you bought, we keep your rating and what you wrote.
- Technical details. Like any website, our server sees your IP address and browser type. We use them to keep you signed in, stop abuse (for example, limiting how many times someone can guess a password or track an order), and keep a security log of events such as sign-ins.
- Searches. We count what people type into the shop search so we know which products to stock. These are stored without your name, account or IP address.
How we use it
- To take, prepare, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them.
- To check bank-transfer payments. A person on our team always does this; it is never automatic.
- To run your account: your saved addresses, past orders and order tracking.
- To keep the shop and your account secure.
- To keep business and accounting records, as the law requires.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Delivery. Our delivery staff, and for orders outside Malé and Hulhumalé the boat operator carrying your parcel, see your name, phone number and address so they can get it to you.
- Our hosting provider. The website and its data are stored with our hosting company, who keep it on our behalf and may not use it for anything else.
- Google. Only if you choose to sign in with Google. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google's servers for them.
- When the law requires it. We will share information with authorities only when we are legally required to.
Inside CorallineBeauty, staff only see what their job needs. Payment slips are stored privately and are not publicly reachable.
Cookies
We use a few small cookies that the shop needs to work: one keeps your bag and sign-in together, one protects forms from being submitted by other websites, and, if you sign in with Google, one keeps you signed in on that device until you sign out. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics.
How long we keep it
- Orders, payments and slips: as long as we need them for our business and accounting records.
- Your account and saved addresses: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Security log: 180 days, then deleted automatically.
- Search counts: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can see and edit your details and saved addresses under My account. You can also ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct something, or delete your account. If you delete your account we remove your profile and saved addresses; we keep past order records where we need them for accounting, but they are no longer tied to a login.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, payment slips are kept out of public reach, and staff access is limited by role. No system is perfectly secure, but if something ever went wrong that affected your information, we would tell you.
Children
Our shop is meant for people aged 18 and over, or younger people shopping with a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect information from children on their own.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you when you next sign in or order.
